Jeff Ward

Bio

Based in New Jersey, Jeff joined Atlantic Union Equipment Finance in March 2022 as Vice President of Capital Markets. Jeff has worked at Santander Equipment Finance, Sterling Bank Equipment Finance and Morgan Stanley Capital Markets Division.  
In addition, Jeff spent time as a rating analyst for S&P Global, Corporate Ratings in the Transportation and Manufacturing segment. Jeff has a background in M&A and restructuring with specific areas of expertise in transportation, manufacturing, intermodal, shipping and construction.
Prior to his career in finance, Jeff served for six years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, reaching the rank of Lieutenant. During his naval career, Jeff served on USS Mason DDG 87 completing an eight-month deployment to the Persian Gulf with primary responsibilities as the Gunnery Officer. Jeff also served on LPD 17 San Antonio as the Auxiliaries Officer and taught training lesson at SWOS in Newport, Rhode Island.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD and a Master’s of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business with a focus on finance and leadership.
