Minimum Account Identification Requirements
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
Enhanced Security for Online Banking
To authorize our customers’ access to online banking, we use password verification and enhanced security. Enhanced security utilizes a “cookie”, which is a small text file stored on your computer. This “cookie” is unique, and when used in combination with your login information, creates a unique way to identify you to the system. This “cookie” is only used to validate your identity. This “cookie” does not contain any personal information, and will not be used to share any information about you with a third party.
