At Atlantic Union Bank, it’s easy for our Teammates to get involved. All Teammates are allocated 16 paid hours* of volunteer time each year to support matters they truly care about – serving the communities where they live and work.
We have a passion for philanthropy, supporting organizations through volunteer hours, making charitable contributions for various initiatives and investing into our communities.
Our core values – caring, courageous, committed – are woven into our community efforts and culture of giving back. We’re a proud sponsor of local festivals, family events and support many organizations that strive to ensure residents have a safe, affordable place to call home.
*16 paid hours of volunteer time each year for full-time Teammates. Part-time Teammates are eligible for 8 hours each year.

In-Branch Development
This unique and comprehensive training program focuses on product and service knowledge, creating the ultimate customer experience, navigating systems, living our values, innovating on the job and building relationships. The program takes place during your first 6 weeks utilizing a "blended" learning approach, including:
- Online pre-work before classes
- Feedback from training facilitators and in-branch coach
- Classroom training
- Hands-on training with an in-branch coach

Universal Bankers
Our Universal Banker role is a cross-platform position where Teammates can uncover and provide solutions for our customer’s banking needs, promote the branch’s overall growth through opening and maintaining customer accounts, creating and maintaining customer connections, and by performing teller transactions. In this role, with previous banking experience, you’ll be able to create positive customer relationships by effectively communicating a clear understanding of the benefits of Atlantic Union Bank’s products and services.

Branch managers are responsible for inspiring Teammates to provide a best-in-class customer experience while providing solutions for customers through in-depth conversations to meet their financial needs. A branch manager will direct, lead and coach Teammates to drive sales performance and help Teammates achieve their personal goals.
