Bio

I’m excited and honored to join Atlantic Union Bank as Chief Information Officer (CIO). The journey to my career in technology is a bit unique as I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute. However, I gravitated toward the field of Information Technology (IT).

My IT career began with Capital One, and during my 16 years there, I held many pivotal roles, including Vice President of Data Center Operations & Open Systems Hosting. After Capital One, I worked for Carmax, playing a key role in a major technology transformation that helped them become an omni-channel retailer. I returned to the financial industry with my most recent position as Chief Technology Officer for PNC Bank.

As a person who is driven by business results, I am most passionate in using my knowledge and expertise to build high performing teams and empower those teams to achieve exceptional results.

When I’m not working, I devote time to my wife and four children who range in age between 4 and 21. Each of my children have very different interests and needs based on such a diversity of age, and I enjoy wearing many hats supporting them in whatever they need to be successful.
