In the fall, Atlantic Union Bank reaffirmed our commitment to supporting FeedMore in their mission to nourish communities and empower lives by donating $250,000. Every dollar enables FeedMore to provide 4 meals. Every week, Feedmore distributes 2,000 backpacks of food for children to take home, in addition to the 3,000 meals they distribute to the community each day.
In addition to helping provide meals for our neighbors around central Virginia, this gift assisted FeedMore as they moved to a new location that better serves their needs. The new facility includes a massive warehouse, community kitchen, office space and an enhanced volunteer area. We look forward to getting to know the new space as we have pledged to have AUB Teammates continue to donate their time with Feedmore.
In addition to our monetary donation, AUB ran a food drive at all of our branches that resulted in more than 6,000 pounds of food donated to FeedMore. We are so appreciative of our community members and Teammates who donated.
As we look to the rest of 2025 and beyond, we are excited to see and support the great work that FeedMore does in the community.
