On Monday, May 13, Atlantic Union Bank celebrated the grand opening of our new Chantilly, VA branch with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. A large town with a population of nearly 25,000 people and over 6,700 businesses, Chantilly has a blend of history, beauty and hospitality.
Located at 13986 Metrotech Drive, less than a mile from the previous location, this new branch offers more service options, including a drive-thru, to help our customers handle their business the way that works best for them.
Among those attending the ceremony were Atlantic Union Bank CEO, John Asbury, and Consumer and Business Banking Group Executive, Shawn O’Brien. “We’ve been here in the Chantilly area for nearly two decades, and we know convenience is key when you’re navigating the fast pace of Northern Virginia,” John Asbury says. Shawn O’Brien adds, “This new full-service location continues our commitment to serving this community and the banking needs of those who live here.” Both expressed their gratitude to the community and to the Teammates who will be operating the Chantilly branch, including Samira Hooshmand who celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony on her very first day working for Atlantic Union Bank.
Although we continue to grow, we haven’t forgotten our customer-centric focus across our markets. We strive to make banking easier and hope that people who see our name will associate us with a strong sense of community.
